2017 has been quite a year of change. Especially for the cannabis industry. So far eight states have followed in Colorado’s foot-steps, and 2018 looks like it’s going to be another great year of growth in our young industry. However, we still have a long way to go. We here at Matrix wanted to take some time to reflect on just how far we have come since embarking on this journey. It’s important to understand where you came from, to see where you are going. We initially embarked on this journey with less than 20 hard-working individuals. We are now, just one year later, 46 employees deep, and on our way to making Matrix one of the best companies to work with, and work for in the cannabis industry. We have doubled our staff, and our output in just one year. Unheard of in any industry, and a sign of the changing tide in public opinion towards our industry’s perception. It is important for us to show that cannabis is not a cultivator of laziness, but actually a propeller of opportunity.
Evan, and the team at Matrix, aka us, have made it our mission statement to grow the best flower, and extract the best pure CO2 oil possible. It is an honor for each and every one of us to be in this developing industry. Each of us is learning something new every day, and the wealth of knowledge we are accumulating is making us a force to be reckoned with. We are humbled by the passion people have coming into work, and creating the top-tier products they do. Matrix has become a quilt-work of hard-working people from all different aspects of life. Former nurses, bartender’s and construction workers. Students, teachers, and even telephone repair service writer’s. Young old, and everyone in between. Every one of them had an opportunity to start with a company, and an industry, that was unknown. Some even left salary jobs that took them years to achieve. Others had families to support. The shared experience of connecting with people from different walks of life who are looking for more than just a job, but a career, is a powerful combination. And now that legalization has given us an avenue to pursue that dream, together, with ambitious charismatic leaders, and workers there is little we can’t do. So, here’s to another year of us growing, learning and becoming the best versions of ourselves that we can. And to continue to build on the dream we have all started together…. Together Yes, We CANNABIS!!
