Ripper Care

Here at Matrix NV we provide the highest level of customer service and always work to ensure that our customers enjoy the experience with our products. Here are some tips that will help your All-in-one Ripper last.

  • How often do I need to charge my Ripper?
    • It is always recommended (not needed) to charge your Ripper to 100% before use. It should always come pre-charged. Depending on how often you use it and how big your pulls are will determine how often you will need to recharge.
  • What should I do if my Ripper leaks?
    • Our Ripper hardware is built to last and shouldn’t leak. However, during the hot summer months in Nevada temperatures can reach well over 100 degrees and even higher in your vehicle. In winter temps can drop to below freezing overnight. These extreme temperatures can affect the live resin/rosin oil viscosity. If left in the sun, the Ripper can begin to leak as the oil will heat at extended duration and become runny. In the cold, the oil will become thicker and may not hit right away until it heats up. It is highly recommended not to leave your Ripper in the heat, direct sun, or cold temperatures to avoid such issues.
  • What should I do if my hardware isn’t lighting up?
    • If you ever have any issues with our hardware it is recommended that you first check that it is charged. If the problem persists, then contact the dispensary where you made the purchase and they can provide a new one with your receipt. If you’re local, you can also always reach out directly to our Instagram page (Matrix_Nevada) and one of our representatives can assist in getting you a new one.
  • What should I do if my Ripper feels clogged, but the light is working?
    • If your Ripper is clogged, try hitting the vape and covering the pin-hole sized intake hole at the bottom with your finger. This will work as a ‘carb’ and allow for less air and a harder/bigger draw. If your Ripper was left in a cold environment, this could make the rosin/resin thicker and harder to pull. Try warming it up in your hand first. If this doesn’t work, try holding a small flame near the tank to warm up the oil. There may also be lint, oil, or an obstruction preventing the air flow. Use a pin or toothpick in the mouthpiece to scoop out the obstruction. All Rippers come with a rubber mouthpiece cover and it is recommended to keep that on your mouthpiece when it is not being used to avoid such issues.
